Telefonica UK - known more commonly as O2 - is the UK’s largest and most reliable mobile network offering services that cover 99% of the nation’s population with 4G and almost 200 towns and cities with 5G services.

In this role I was responsible for the 24/7 operational security teams in O2UK consisting of 30 security professionals delivering security services to O2UK and our external customers.

Appointed as SOC Manager in November 2015, I recruited analysts to work in O2's 24/7 SOC in Northampton, which monitors the national smart meter infrastructure rolling out across the UK.

Manage a team of four in a high security environment providing support for external law enforcement agencies and other third parties, for all RIPA Part 1 Chapter 1 matters. This team also handle all Subject Access Requests for O2.
