Manage Land Use Entitlement Process for Property Owners and Developers of large mixed use, residential and commercial projects; Coordinate with key City officials on processing development applications; meet with community groups and Neighborhood Council's; Prepare required city documents on behalf of clients; manage consultant teams; provide input to City officials regarding land use regulations; manage and mentor fellow associates on project applications and entitlement package submittals to cities.

Liaison and staff to the City’s Historic Preservation Commission (HPC), presenting Landmark status property requests to the HPC, assisting the HPC in the recent selection and adoption of the Heritage Tree List, facilitating HPC meetings. Providing assistance at the public counter for both planning and building requests including permits and code enforcement issues. Reviewing development proposals and preparing project descriptions to be incorporated into staff reports for presentation to Planning Commission and City Council. Review project requests for entitlements and permits to determine the best course of action based on the City’s Municipal Code and General Plan

I provide planning staff services to local jurisdictions. My specialty is entitlement and permit processing of propsoed development projects. I work as a contractor through the local agency to assist applicants in preparing project descriptions, submitting necessary application materials, analyzing environmental technical documents, determining environmental review process and developing a staff report to be provided to the Planning Commission and City Council. I also worked on special projects as needed for the Development Services Director. Projects include completing tax credit applications for residential development proposals, the drafting of and administration of professional services agreements, draft and finalize staff reports for development projects, process CFD annexations, and process revocation of project entitlements.

Senior Planner, City of Beverly Hills; City of West Hollywood; and County of VenturaI managed development projects by leading applicants and developers through the City’s entitlement process. Reviewed and provided comments on conceptual development plans and construction drawings. Organized and led community outreach meetings. Created and presented staff reports to City boards and commissions. Provided feedback to City officials regarding projects I was managing. I authored various project specific environmental reports. Managed project budgets and made recommendations to the department manager for necessary changes.
