Volunteer Coordinator
CurrentDollars are tight, but the Town of Fountain Hills is able to keep providing services, thanks to more than 650 volunteers. Volunteers of all ages contributed over 24,000 hours of service during 2010 adding to the quality of life Fountain Hills residents enjoy. Volunteers are delivering meals to homebound residents, providing transportation for non-drivers to medical appointments, participating in recycling and environmental efforts, assisting with special events such as the Turkey Trot race and St. Pat's celebration, offering assistance at the reception desks in the Community Center and Town Hall, beautifying streets through the Adopt a Street program, serving as coaches in our Parks and Recreation team sports, leading instruction in our active Sr. and Boomer programs, providing trail maintenance, assisting with the Teen Court program, utilizing their professional skills working on special projects in Planning and Zoning and the Economic Development division, an in many other ways. Our volunteers bring energy, skills, enthusiasm, vision and support to our Town and we are grateful!
