My background is in hospital quality, regulatory compliance, nursing theory & education, nursing orientation and professional development, Magnet accreditation, transition to practice programs, program management, and research.I am currently the Magnet Program Director and the Director of the New Graduate Transition to Practice Program.My background as a clinical nurse is in medical intensive care and my research expertise is in ICU induced post-traumatic stress disorder. Prior to becoming a nurse I was a research coordinator and assistant manager of an active clinical trials department.As an educator I have taught pre-licensure and masters-level students in the classroom setting, simulation lab, and in the clinical setting.I pride myself on being strategic, data driven, dependable and diligent.
