I view my role as radiation oncology manager at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as helping my teammates stay at the forefront of technology and provide the best patient care. As someone who started their career as a radiologic technologist and is working on a Master of Health Science degree, I appreciate how important career satisfaction and success can be to providing excellent patient care. I pay that forward by supporting career development, participation in research initiatives and a healthy work-life balance. The approach has helped my department earn a Silver Touchstone Award  by creating a more streamlined prostate cancer treatment process, an Elekta Center of Excellence designation and an AlignRT Tattoo-free Center certificate.
