The Geriatric Emergency Department Collaborativeis dedicated to the optimal emergency care of older adults.GEDC is a nationwide collaborative dedicated to improving the quality of care for older people in Emergency Departments with the goal of reducing harm and improving healthcare outcomes. We are committed to making change through the education of individuals, and hospital-wide initiatives that create sustainable improvements in practice at all levels.

I work in Astate's First Year Experience Program, also known as FYE. This is a program which is designed to help students prepare for the transition from high school to college. I act as a personal guide to ensure that the transition to College is a enjoyable and memorable one for International Students.
