I am passionate about problem-solving and finding creative solutions. Leveraging information is important and through a love of research and "detective work" (All those mystery novels weren't a waste of time after all!) I find great pleasure in chasing down answers and consider the people I meet and knowledge I glean along the way to be treasures that will serve me well in the future. Relationships are important to me and I find that I am at my best when I am teaching and encouraging others. I enjoy getting to know people and finding out what they are passionate about and using that knowledge to motivate them to reach personal and professional goals. I also pledge my time to causes I am passionate about, helping organizations I believe in to meet their goals while also gaining experience in areas that sharpen my expertise and satisfy my desire to learn new skills. I feel that successful communication is not only vital to success in almost every area of life, it can also be elevated to an art form. Creating teaching materials, on the job training, mentoring, writing... all of these are tasks I enjoy because in order to accomplish them well I must be constantly evolving and helping others to grow at the same time. All work can be fun and creative if we only approach it from the right perspective!
