Led two largest physician network acquisitions in UNCPN's history growing the company by 20%. Evaluated and recommended strategic partnerships with community physician practices and real estate options for new and existing practices. Executed strategic initiatives developed by UNCPN, UNC Health Care and UNC Affiliates including opening 6 De Novo clinics, acquiring 5+ private practices and relocating and expanding several existing clinics.

Teamed with providers and practice managers on operations, financial performance, strategic initiatives, staff and patient issues, legal concerns, IT needs, clinic flow, recruitment, etc. Operationalized and managed new care delivery model with Cisco to provide on-site multi-specialty clinic for their employees and dependents. Responsible for 3 primary care, 2 multi-specialty and 1 urgent care clinic with 35+ providers and 100+ staff.

Led Service Excellence (SE) Program for 35 departments across 5 locations and 6 Physician Office Practices involving administration, analysis, improvement solutions, and dissemination of results to all levels of Leadership and coworkers of over 14,500 patient satisfaction surveys, including HCAHPS.Achieved Lean Six Sigma certification and led multi-disciplinary process improvement events involving nurses, physicians, executive staff, and other coworkers. Areas involved included nursing units, Facility Services, Food and Nutrition, Emergency Room, Patient Reservations, and others.
