LIFE LESSONS: My personal and professional journeys have taught me two important lessons. The need for GRIT&GRACE - in equal portions. We can't always control our circumstances, but we can view the obstacles we face as an opportunity to develop ourselves. As we are pulled back, (insert bow/arrow analogy here) we need to change our mindset that the pull back is not a set back -- but a set up. The further the arrow is pulled back, the further we fly! During these moments, we should show grace towards ourselves and others, because, you never know what someone else is going through (or how far back their arrow is being pulled).
