Joined The New Teacher Project as a Pre-screener for the New Visions for Public Schools Model Staffing Initiative (which hires exemplary teachers who work toward raising students' achievement). Working from home, so far, I have pre-screened over 300 teacher applications for the 2009-2010 school year.

In 2005 I was promoted to Library Director, where I instituted several changes to the library. I oversaw the design, construction, and moving of the library's Technical Services Department to another location within the building. To increase our community outreach efforts, I started an author reading series, which drew authors such as: Susan Choi, Jonathan Safran Foer, Jhumpa Lahiri, etc. One of my main priorities as Director was to improve the library staff's skills using our Integrated Library System (Endeavor Voyager). I organized Voyager training, led by an Endeavor Consultant for the entire library staff. Additionally, I worked individually with the staff to help them develop and improve their skills and effectiveness.

Joined St. Joseph's College in 2004 as the Assistant Director. My responsibilities included marketing and promoting the library's information and instructional services to the college community. I managed and evaluated all aspects of reference, research, and instructional services to ensure user needs and quality service standards were met. I led the Reference Department by managing, motivating, and mentoring the Librarians to develop aptittudes, enchance skills, and foster professional growth.
