As part of CopyPress' stable of freelance writers, I wrote for a varied bunch of clients including HVAC businesses, dentistry practices, new cars, trademarks, and hotel booking engines. Always submitted on time, I my work with the CopyPress editors to improve my pieces was especially appreciated by the managers supervising my campaigns.

During my one-year contract with Cuso International I was stationed in Vientiane, the capital city of Laos. I worked at the Institute for Foreign Affairs, teaching English presentation skills to government officials from a variety of ministries and government groups. I designed my lessons to focus on clear communications, simple vocabulary, and conversational English. Every lesson started with a fun warm up - a card game, a vocabulary race, or perhaps spelling-bingo.

During my time in the south of Japan on the island of Kyushu, I taught English to students under the age of 14, following company guidelines and procedures. My classroom management and parent interaction was all in Japanese.
