I am the managing member of Baranowski and Associates. Baranowski and Associates provides specialized consulting services to the legal community relative to forensic accounting and business valuation services with a primary focus on family law matters. I am a Certified Public Accountant with the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. In addition I hold both the Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics designations from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. I have been qualified as an expert and provided testimony in numerous counties in Pennsylvania as well as in Massachusetts. Using expertise as a licensed CPA trained in valuation and forensic accounting provides litigation support in disputes relative to these issues in a wide variety of matters.I have extensive experience in business valuation and litigation support, primarily as the issues apply in family law matters. Services in the family law area include identifying and quantifying assets subject to equitable distribution, developing and implementing forensic accounting work plans for purposes of developing an opinion of value of a closely held business interest, and calculating income available for support. I have managed hundreds of such engagements in a variety of industries, from manufacturers to professional service firms.I am also certified in collaborative law and a member of the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
