Connecting. Listening. Getting results.I am a connector. I enjoy connecting with people. And even better, I love to connect people to each other and to resources. These community connections take on a physical manifestation in my work by creating safe places to bike and walk for transportation and recreation.I am curious. I want to knock down silos by understanding. I have been told that I am good at listening and translating technical details into everyday language. The phrase “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but is often better than a master of one” sums me up.I follow through on promises. Details matter and so does delivering on time. All of this connecting means relationships are deeply important to me. I have an abundance mindset and lead from the heart. The foundation of my work and career is grounded in the power of nature. I am trained as a forester, taking the long-range view on natural resource management and the importance to our daily lives. Parks and nature were the backdrop to my childhood, and I am dedicated to making sure everyone in our community has access to high quality green space. Everyone deserves a space to explore, learn and rest outside. And nature deserves a chance to thrive, too.
