As a coder for Sanford Health I had the opportunity to work in areas such as ER, X-Ray, Inpatient, Neuropsychology, and Behavioral Health including community programs. I was responsible for training the psychologists and psychiatrists on coding changes and documentation improvement. I helped transition the doctors to a new EHR and helped with building the templates used for psychology and psychiatry visits, and with inpatient note improvement.
