Provides Reference and Reader’s Advisory for library patrons in the Children’s Department. Supervisor for the Children’s Department part-time staff. Responsible for the updating and upkeep of the Library’s Website, as well as the recent website redesign. Provides customized training session on databases and catalog uses for the district’s teachers, as well as teaching classes to library patrons on social networking. Assisted in the installation of the library’s integrated library system by setting up the parameters and online presence of the new catalog, providing training for staff members, and continuing to maintain responsibility for the online portion of the catalog system.

Coordinated and supervised all adult programming events. Wrote all programming copy for the monthly newsletter. Assisted with the production of said newsletter. Aided in the creation of all other advertising material throughout the library, including contact with local media. In charge of booking exhibits and displays for the library. Aided in the coordination of library-wide events that involved the book clubs, children’s, and adult departments. Served as a representative of the library at the North Suburban Library System (NSLS) Adult Programming Committee and the Library Cable Network (LCN) Planning Committee.
