Then in my 20s, I became a missionary & chaplain & worked with everyone from college students to p*rn stars to young people struggling with substance abuse. The vast majority of my work was with young women in the s*x industry. It was beautiful AND brutal work & all I can say is thank GOD for Brenda (my shrink).I’m a pro copywriter by trade & know a thing or two about grabbing people's attention & creating the magic that lets them turn THEMSELVES into mega fans. :) So after showing up like a sparkly beacon of linguistic noise in the inboxes of CEOs across the land (from cold pitching!), I've crafted brand voices & marketing content for multi-million dollar brands like SexyHair, Man Crates, Lovehoney, ShipStation, & countless entrepreneurs. As an entrepreneur, I’ve owned a freelance copywriting business, managed junior writers, & created & led a digital personal styling business, online masterminds for female entrepreneurs, personal development courses, & digital info products. Now as a founder, I'm creating the beauty company I WISH existed with BOMB ASS investors who care about the youth mental health crisis as much as I do & want to be part of something that's bigger than ALL of us.On a human note –I'm an East Coast broad (PA represent!) & have been moonlighting as a West Coast babe for 15 years. I live in Long Beach with my fox of a husband, hilarious stepdaughter, & 17 year old tiny baby Persian kitty. I also coexist with the guy across the street who insists on closing his blinds every night in nothing but his tighty whities & gym-bro muscles.I LOVE reading auto/biographies (particularly beauty, music, & fashion), am a MASSIVE advocate for therapy, am not above binging reality TV dating shows, am obsessed with boujee cabins, love Tom Waits, laugh A LOT, & as a woman of deep faith, BIG ASS vision & wild tenacity -Am about to change the WHOLE DAMN GAME of what it means for brands (& the people behind them) to do IMMEASURABLE good in the world.Care to join me?Fab.
