Partner/Creative DirectorOn Three Communication Design Inc. 2008 - Feb 2014Hamilton/GtaOn Three is a marketing and communications agency specializing in place branding. It works with regions, cities and neighborhoods to build communication strategies that attract people, business and investment. As a Partner and Creative Director, it was my responsibility to oversee all aspects of our projects: from business development to project execution to evaluation and measurement. My accomplishments in this role included:• Managed multiple client projects with budgets between $500,000 and $750,000. Responsibilities included client development and management, project strategy and planning, and overseeing design and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.• Implementing an 'Agile Project Management' methodology for the company, and creating a framework for delivering all client projects using these methodologies. Agile involves rapid iterations, close collaboration with clients and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget to the satisfaction of all involved - from senior decision makers to front-line software developers.• In addition to project and client management, I was responsible for providing creative direction on all our projects, and was involved in developing both the creative strategies and contributing to their tactical execution. As digital marketing evolved, I found I could be most creative in this emerging space, which informed my decision to start Rain Digital in 2014. -
