Developed the transformation strategy to uplift the maturity for nine of RBC’s service management processes. Built the funding case, received approval and completed a significant transaction to expand the ServiceNow platform at the bank. Recruited a strong program team, realigned the business-as-usual service management organization and established a very collaborative, matrixed team environment. Developed a very broad following across RBC at multiple levels which established significant visibility and interest in the transformation program.

Worked with early adopters in banking, insurance, telecommunication and retail clients to build understanding of the cloud service model through pilots and proof of technology activities. Assisted banking clients in developing the business case for cloud adoption. Sold cloud management solutions to help clients address cost and agility challenges with infrastructure and platform-as- a-service capabilities.

Responsible for sales and delivery oversight for Infrastructure Services at a large Canadian bank. Sold IBM Canada’s first private cloud pilot and implementation which drove the bank’s test environment service transformation. Led the Canadian Financial Services & Insurance Cloud team for 2 years.

Developed the management system for IBM Canada’s Mid-Market business. Led the development of the Canadian Mid-Market strategy. Facilitated the Mid-Market Integrated Branch Leadership Team which drove aligned execution across IBM sales, brands and business partners.

Built senior executive relationships within a large Canadian bank which assisted in developing non-traditional business opportunities in IBM infrastructure services offerings. Acted as a Technical Advisor to a the bank’s EVP of Infrastructure.

Led thirteen consulting and technology practices ranging from IT Management, High Availability and IT Optimization Consulting through Middleware, Tivoli, Mainframe, P-series, Microsoft implementation practices etc. Managed a team of 200 people (including Principals and Consulting Practitioners). Grew the practice to a multi-million dollar presence in all business sectors in Canada

Responsible for selling and overseeing delivery of infrastructure services engagements to a large Canadian bank. Gained significant consulting delivery experience across multiple domains (System Management, IT Optimization, High Availability, Business Resiliency, High Availability) working in a variety of banking and utilities accounts. Sold the first server management out-tasking contract in Canada.

Managed a program to deploy standardized processes to over 2000 people in IBM’s Strategic Outsourcing organization. Led the process development team that created IBM Canada’s Major Incident Process. Acted as the process owner and subject matter expert for three critical system management processes (Problem, Change, and Major Incident).
