With a background in both accounting and project coordination, I have dedicated my career to supporting the success of construction projects from a financial and operational perspective. My experience spans working for both a masonry subcontractor and a general contractor, where I've developed a well-rounded skill set in accounts payable and accounts receivable, project coordination, and administration.I began my career with a masonry subcontractor, where I managed AP/AR functions, supported the processing of payroll, handling of worker's compensation claims, OSHA reporting, and assisted with various project coordination tasks. This foundation gave me a solid understanding of financial controls and the administrative aspects essential to construction operations.I then transitioned to a general contractor, where I took on the role of Project Engineer, supporting the Project Managers through comprehensive project administration. In this role, I've been skilled at managing submittals, RFI's, processing change orders, taking detailed meeting minutes, and coordinating essential project documentation. I'm experienced with leading construction management software, including Procore, Sage, and Textura.I'm passionate about ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently, and I'm committed to providing accurate, timely support that empowers teams to focus on building quality structures.
