Health Choice is BCBSAZ’s Medicaid Segment, and serves Arizonans who are eligible for Medicaid and KidsCare benefits through the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS). Health Choice also contracts with Medicare to provide a Medicare Advantage plan for individuals who are enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid. This plan is called Health Choice Pathway (HMO D-SNP). The plan offers additional benefits not covered by Original Medicare and AHCCCS at no cost. We are committed to offering Arizonans care through our extended network of providers located in their home communities. Health Choice is an option for members who live in Apache, Coconino, Gila, Maricopa, Mohave, Navajo, Pinal, and Yavapai counties.

As an elected official, served eight years in the Arizona House of Representatives and one term in the Arizona State Senate.
