As the Senior Vice President and Head of Takeda’s U.S. Neuroscience Business Unit (NSBU), I am an Executive Leadership Team (ELT) member responsible for leading home office and field teams, while also overseeing the Profit and Loss (P&L) and operational functions for the NSBU. Building on the foundation of Takeda’s long legacy and heritage, the NSBU seeks to improve the trajectory of care for complex brain conditions and help patients live healthier lives. I lead an amazing team that unites passion and expertise in neuropsychiatry, sleep-wake disorders, neurodegenerative and rare neurological conditions to address the needs of patients. With 25 years of commercialization and people leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry, I have spent the last 20 years with Takeda. During this time, I have held diverse positions with increasing responsibility across primary care, specialty biologic, rare and ultra rare teams. I have been energized by opportunities to reinvent myself and mentor others by endorsing an enterprise leadership mindset, driven by the belief that everyone has an opportunity and a responsibility to contribute to collective success while learning, growing and developing as individuals. Aligned with this mindset, I serve as the co-executive sponsor of the Gender Parity Network (GPN), one of Takeda’s Resource Groups (TRGs). The GPN is committed to realizing gender parity across our organization by fostering the development and advancement of women through a strong, diverse and engaged community
