CurrentProvides flight crew with flight plan and weather information (including filing flight plans and providing trip briefings, fuel advisement, route briefing, aircraft entry requirements, airport arrival and training slots). Operates complex computer software related to flight dispatching and scheduling and logistic support (CTA-FOS). Maintains and updates aircraft and crew schedules. Obtains any necessary permits or visas for passengers, crew and executives when flying in and out of foreign countries. Maintains department’s records to ensure accurate reporting, currency, and accounting issues. Coordinates with outside aircraft services handler for international flights as needed. Coordinates aircraft handling and fueling with FBOs. Negotiates fuel discounts with fuel providers. Provides accounting services (including submitting invoices for payment, processing charge backs and participating in budget preparation.) Coordinates use of charter services to meet company guidelines. Schedule flight crew to ensure compliance with company and FAA regulations regarding currency, flight and duty times. Ensure that aircraft schedules meet with any airport or airspace restrictions. Knows Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies to remain compliant in all operations. Works in conjunction with company safety department to comply with SMS and IS-BAO requirements. Determines security needs and makes necessary arrangements for all trips, particularly foreign destinations. Interfaces with flight crews to advise of passenger needs or requirements. Acts as effective liaison between management and flight crew. Schedules ground and commercial air transportation and accommodations for flight crew. Arranges catering services in accordance with company and passenger requirements. Remains current on resources available and training opportunities to facilitate an effective scheduling operation. Interacts with Flight Operations staff at headquarters to streamline process and procedures.
