With over 30 years of international experience in the for-purpose sector, I have built a career that spans external relations, marketing, communications, philanthropy, and fundraising across Australia, Asia, and Canada. Starting in the private sector, I transitioned into fundraising in Australia in the late 90s and implemented integrated advancement strategies before they were widely recognised.Since then, I have led integrated teams in higher education, a business school, secondary schools, health and medical research, and professional member associations. I have personally secured several six- and seven-figure donations and contributed to major campaigns ranging from $10M to $300M. My expertise covers the entire philanthropy and fundraising lifecycle, overseeing $25M in strategic partnerships, and managing over 1,000 volunteers.I am committed to making a difference in our society broadly, for women, and for animal welfare and conservation. I recently founded @Advfinity and joined @GlobalPhilanthropic as a Senior Associate. I am excited to use my extensive experience empowering nonprofit leaders, doers, donors, and philanthropists to amplify their impact through strategic, purpose-driven initiatives that meet and exceed their most ambitious philanthropic and fundraising goals.I hold an MBA International, a Vincent Fairfax Fellowship in Ethical Leadership, and a certificate of completion in Social Impact Outcomes Measurement. Having served on various boards and commissions and as conference chair and speaker, my significant volunteer commitments earned me a CASE (Council for Advancement & Support of Education) Laureate designation in 2020. When not immersed in professional endeavours, I spend quality time with family and friends, sail or scuba dive with a camera in hand, swim, and walk the beach daily with my dog, Dexter.
