As Vice President I serve as the liaison between all Student Organizations on campus and the administration, organizing monthly meetings among student leaders and providing relevant information to all parties. I also serve on the Executive Committee as a voting member on all SBA-related items, including programming, initiatives, and spending. In this role I exercise networking wherewithal as well as creative thinking in problem solving, programming, and collaboration efforts among the Student Organization leaders. I also assist the President in his role among the student body, by attending meetings with the Deans, sharing pertinent information with the student body, and ensuring that the President is maximizing his capabilities in serving the student body.

The administrative assistant for SFT acts as the liaison for many business interactions, communicating through email, over the phone, and in person to schedule meetings, book travel, send invoices and make payments. They also maintain the office space by ordering supplies when needed, updating features in the office space and meeting space, and ensuring that the office is well-kept. I assisted in accounting for the company by communicating with the bookkeeper and digitizing the checkbook. I also maintained, updated, and re-created several social media accounts as well as the website for the company during my time in this position. The social media presence was updated on a daily basis with new, creative content relevant to the industry. All regulatory filings and master contact lists as well as office operations were documented and distributed through the my role. I also designed several publications and sample pieces for the company, and occasionally helped with trade show preparation and attendance.

As campaign manager,I maintained relationships with constituents throughout the campaign by communicating events, interests, goals, and platforms of the candidate through social media, emails, and phone calls. I managed all volunteer coordination for campaign events, including organizing over 100 volunteers to walk with the mayoral candidate in a local parade and several sign waving and phone calling events each week throughout campaign season. I managed the time of the candidate for speaking engagements, business meetings, and calendar planning. I acted as the liaison for a majority of the communication with local media, newspapers, and constituents for the mayoral candidate, and came up with creative ideas to better connect with the local community.

As the communications intern for the Governor's office I worked with the communications team on drafting press releases and media advisories as well as publishing proclamations and various, multi-media tasks including photography and video captioning for and on the Governor's official social media platforms. I attended various events and assisted in media coverage for the Governor, and worked with Constituent Services in person-to-person interactions to address concerns brought to the Governor's office.

Through my role as the head of student government at SMU, I worked on organizing and leading weekly assembly meetings in which the senate and executive board discuss and approve student proposals and conference requests. In conjunction with official meetings I actively listened to the needs of constituents and organized appropriate programming around said needs. Additionally, I acted as the students' spokesperson at the University's quarterly Board of Trustees meetings and various other public appearances. During my tenure the officers reviewed and approved an updated Constitution and Bylaws for the governing body and underwent significant changes in addressing transparency with the assembly members. I also received a student-elected leadership in service award during my tenure.

The role of Dance Chair included coordinating 4-5 dances each school year, which encompassed advertising, food services, photography, and decoration; as well as attending and assisting with all other Campus Life programs throughout Fall and Spring semester. Additionally, the coordinator was tasked with working with 4 other Programming Specialists to plan for events for the school year and attending NACA programming conference in the Fall.

Conference Assistants (CAs) help with office work as well as keep up with the summer residents on campus, go on community walks with public safety, and assist wherever residents need help or advice. CAs also are well-versed in campus life and the resources available on campus.

Through my work as a columnist, I wrote articles relevant to students at Saint Martin's University under the culture and lifestyles category. Pieces published include an article about the new Communications major that began to be offered on campus in Fall 2014 and an overview of the media's take on Women in Congress following the inauguration of the 114th Congress in the Winter of 2015.

Since joining forces with the American Diabetes Association in 2006 I have been allowed many opportunities to showcase my customer service strengths as well as both written and verbal communication skills. In 2013 I was elected the National Youth Advocate (NYA) for the Association, and in that capacity travelled across the United States giving speeches and meeting with various individuals to share my personal diabetes story, and emphasize the importance of diabetes advocacy. I was a keynote speaker for the Diabetes Expo held at the Washington State Convention Center, and gave an introductory speech for the Association at a Stand Up for a Cure event at Madison Square Garden, NYC.

I assisted garnishment clerks in garnishing employee's paychecks with Lawson programming and conducted external phone calls to payroll offices outside of the corporate building, as well as assisted in updating several excel documents relevant to the payroll department while the department began the transition to a new payroll system.
