Hi. I'm Heather. Here's some honesty about who I am in the workplace and the world.I’m a driven leader. My varied experience is a testament to my ability to learn different industries and maneuver into new, growing, and vibrant sectors. I see it as fun to plan the action steps to get to the end goal while keeping an eye on the day-to-day to pivot the strategies when needed. I'm a highly sensitive and empathic woman, an asset in leadership roles because I often can sense what's going unspoken and guide the team in a human, compassionate, and professional way. There’s a fine line between bringing your heart to work with approachability, and vulnerability while maintaining professionalism. As a team leader, I enjoy empowering my fellow teammates to lean upon their gifts, strengths and have some fun in the process. I LOVE seeing people thrive and grow in the workplace. Leadership, customer experience, donor relations, Board and team management- each of those require elements of intuition, skill, expertise, and heart. I am warm and funny while being professional. I can sit with you and talk for hours about what’s on your heart or what your next business strategy is- along with what you're currently binge-watching. I care a lot about what I do and who I do it with. I need to go to bed at night knowing that I helped make the world a bit better in my own little (or big) way. I’ve always been one of the hardest workers in the room, while also maintaining the line between work and family. I take on new hobbies and skills in my off time that feed my curiosity and desire for personal growth. I’m always growing- I honestly don’t know how to stay stagnant and stop dreaming. When I'm not working you'll find me deep in the dirt in my garden, writing, painting, reading, or enjoying Florida beaches or Disney World with my family. I'm a wife, sister, daughter, friend, advocate, and Mom to a great young man and 2 rescue pups that have stolen our hearts.
