Heather has 12 years of experience as a manager, employer relations professional, advisor and teacher at private and public university career centers. In her role as the Director of Career Services, she manages employer and alumni relations as well as decides on initiatives that our office will put forth. It her my goal to infuse equity and inclusion into all career programming, events, and services. She feels fortunate to work at BU College of Communications with professors that have hands-on experience in their fields. Many professors chose to partner with our office to ensure students are prioritizing career development in addition to their studies. Another reason she enjoys working at BU is the focus on experiential learning. Student-run agencies such as PRLab and AdLab as well as student organizations like Daily Free Press, and BUTV10, PRSSA, AdClub enable students to gain hands-on experience prior to graduation.I am MBTI Certified and Safe Zone trained.
