In 2018, Confluence was chosen to organize the Colorado Child Welfare Conference, a state-wide three-day event for child welfare professionals. Provided programmatic/logistical support for this 650 attendee event, and managed 85 presenters and 5 keynotes in addition to an Exhibitor Session.Since 2018 Confluence has been supporting Go Code Colorado, a competition run by the Business Intelligence Center at the Secretary of State's Office of Colorado that challenges multidisciplinary teams to turn public data into useful business insights and tools. Confluence provides competition strategy and management (logistics, communications, branding, strategy, and sponsor coordination). Acted as a Volunteer/Intern Manager for the U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2017 held in Denver. Recruited/managed over 400 volunteers to support this collegiate competition to design and build full-size, solar-powered houses.
