About Heather Grooms Long, Ph.D., Acc, Bcc

I provide coaching, training, and facilitation services services to leaders who are trying to resolve sticky, messy problems and working to overcome pains such as: - Goals not met - Ineffective change or change that doesn’t stick - Teams that aren’t performing at their highest potential - Competing priorities - Service that isn’t being rated as excellent - Lackluster employee engagementResulting in costs like: - Time wasted - Money wasted or lost - Chaotic problem solving - Frustration and lack of balance - Inefficiencies - Inconsistencies - Errors - Turnover or presenteeism - Client dissatisfactionI founded 3 SEES, LLC to help senior leaders and strategy-implementing teams achieve their mission and vision. I want to see leaders get unstuck by helping them to apply the great thinking and problem solving capabilities they already have in new ways applied to their business challenges. I researched high-performing teams in my PhD to identify and build on the best practices that create results. I help you tap into the likely 80% of answers already residing in you that just need to be coached and coaxed out to actionable energy. I work with you to simplify things and to reduce this sense that there is a black box of answers out there, somewhere, when in reality you can do this. You can come up with the great ideas, the development needs, the plans of action, and the outcomes you’re running after. You just need a partner who wants to put you at the center and make you the successful person or team. I am an intellectually curious individual who has worn many hats in healthcare - Physical Therapist, Six Sigma Black Belt, various Quality Improvement and Project Leader roles and titles, Clinical Manager, Service Line Director, and Senior Director of Operations. I’m also a practitioner-scholar of evidence-based management practices developed through my MBA and PhD in Management. Every role I’ve had has, in various ways, focused on empowering people to own problem solving, manage complexity, create sustainable change, and pursue personal growth. Now, I’m putting that focus to work through 3 SEES,LLC.
