When the Personalized Learning Team and the Instructional Technology Team merged to form the Personalized Digital Learning Team for our district, we continued our work in supporting teachers. Using a framework that revolves around instructional design, learning environment, and learner ownership we coached teachers in the classroom to help them personalize the learning to meet the needs of all students. Led professional development around Canvas (LMS), Google Apps for Education, Virtual Learning, course creation, AR/VR, Coding, etc.

As an Instructional Technology Specialist for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, I support thirty schools across all grade levels in the district to learn how to implement and use technology effectively in the classroom. I offer Professional Development sessions in a variety of settings including: one-on-one training, Grade level meetings, staff meetings, and district level meetings. I have also presented at state and national conferences to share technology knowledge with others.
