Business Architect
Current• Work in partnership to help transform the organization by bridging the business and technology gap between government management, product managers, product owners, subject matter experts, technical architecture, and development teams. • Help SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) teams align features and efforts with initiatives and priorities identified by government leadership and encourage building a backlog for things not yet prioritized.• Review, analyze and translate features, processes, and workflows to business or technical models to help visualize context, plan architectural runway, and identify capabilities needed. • Deliver features providing incremental value with the teams. • Work across trains to support feature dependencies and integrations. • Analyze design and technology options with the technical architect. Identify tradeoffs and provide recommendations.• Work with data architecture to recommend proper business data objects alignment with workflow management. • Provide documentation to support security reviews and approvals (i.e., component diagrams, communication swim lane, business context). • Collaborate in communities of practice such as Pega, AWS (Amazon web services), and an SDLC (software development lifecycle) working group to provide process improvement recommendations to government and peer knowledge share.• Supported areas: gap analysis of a document management system changing to an enterprise digital records management system; funding request and tasks with documents, electronic signature, and automated notifications; requests for yearly data calls; iterative analysis of alternatives for technology recommendations.
