Responsible for the oversight of geo-environmental projects. The role includes the distribution of workloads, organisation and scheduling of site works and analysis, interpretive reporting, client interaction, project administration and management and project finances.

Main roles include:- Scheduling ground investigations across Scotland (for residential and commercial/industrial developments).- Supervision of drilling/investigation contractors on site.- Trial pit excavations, logging the soil strata and collecting soil samples for environmental analyses including UKWIR and WAC.- Ground gas and water monitoring, including collecting groundwater samples.- Organising transport of samples to laboratory. - Geochemical and geotechnical test scheduling.- Interpretation of soil and water chemical results.- Report writing including Phase 1 Desktop Study Reports, Site Investigation Reports, UKWIR Water Pipe Material Assessments, Coal Mining Risk Assessments, short letter style reports and interim letter reports.- Experience in writing Water Environment Risk Assessments, including utilising the M-BAT Tool, and P20 groundwater modelling.- Experience in working closely with Contaminated Land Officers in councils across Scotland. - Supervision of environmental remediation works.
