Transitioned from university administration to a teaching role as Full Professor in July 2020 with a renewed interest in supporting and leading future sport executives. OHIO is the best place to interact with the next generation of sport executives, to be intellectually challenged as a professor, to engage in the sport industry, and contribute to academia via applied research.

I have served in a variety of roles at OHIO. I was Associate Dean for Graduate and Professional Programs (2016-2020), Director of the Professional Masters in Sports Administration program (2010-2016), Interim Department Chair (2018-19), and NCAA Faculty Athletic Representative (2018-19). I was promoted to Full Professor in Fall 2019.

With Jim Kahler, developed and launched the Professional MSA, a blended online and face to face graduate program for sport executives. Teaching expertise in face-to-face, online, executive, and blended teaching methodologies as well as online instructional design and instructional technology.

Responsible for teaching Sports Events Management and Organization for the Master's in Sports Management which uses an online and in-person case study teaching methodology. Ranked the No. 4 business school in Europe and No. 1 in Spain by The Financial Times in 2009. Received the Outstanding Professor Award for 2011 and 2013.

Sport administrator for women’s soccer, women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s track & field, and men’s golf. Responsible for the supervision of head coaches, programs, and budgets. Directly responsible for event and facility management for 16 sports.
