I worked with UBC Sauder School of Business's Continuing Business Studies to help them develop the overall framework for the four primary courses in their Associate Certificate in Change Management program. I also developed and delivered the foundational course in this program (Change Management Fundamentals) for the first five years of the program. Check out their comprehensive certificate program which has been recognized by the Association of Change Management Professionals.

I guided the CEOs, the Board and the broader leadership team through the amalgamation of the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of B.C., the College of Registered Nurses of B.C., and the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of B.C. The new BC College of Nursing Professionals has now replaced the three legacy colleges and this new organization regulates all nurses in B.C.: LPNs, NPs, RNs and RPNs.Working in collaboration with key stakeholders, I developed and executed a change management strategy to support the amalgamation goals. The strategy included leadership coaching, stakeholder engagement, culture deveIopment, communication, training, and measurement components.Executing the strategy involved:- Facilitating critical conversations with the Boards, the CEOs and their leadership teams. - Designing and delivering workshops and other interventions to support the Board, the CEOs, their leadership teams and the staff through the change process.- Coaching and advising key leaders to help them effectively prepare for the amalgamation and manage the post-amalgamation integration efforts.

As part of a cutting edge management training program, I worked on various projects across the country for the Canadian federal government. I was one of 65 individuals hired into this advanced leadership development program in 1993 from a pool of over 7000 applicants with Masters degrees. The intent of the program was to develop future leaders for the executive ranks within the federal public service. I provided organization development, change management, communication and project management services for the Canadian Coast Guard/DFO during a period of significant change. I also worked as the Manager of the Canada/BC Business Service Centre for Western Economic Diversification and BC's Ministry of Small Business, Tourism and Culture where I managed a multi-million dollar budget and a staff of twenty. The program included intensive leadership and management training components as well as French language training over a 5 year period.
