Greater Denver Area

As a Studio Team Lead at Design Force, I assist in management of 6 very talented designers, aid in coordinating schedules, Change Orders, OAC calls, conduct reviews of ID FFE and Finish Specifications and project drawing sets for both Brand Submittals and Permit / Budget Submittals. Team coordination on Millwork shops and Construction Submittals, Custom lighting, MEP, etc. During all of the above tasks I also have 3-4 projects of my own that I am managing and working through the design phases.Projects completed or involved in as a Studio Team Lead /Senior Interior Designer:- Hyatt House/Hyatt Place Dual Brand, Tempe/ Arizona State University, AZ - New Build construction, Modified Prototype guestrooms, Custom Level 1 Public Areas and Level 8 Pool & Bar. Completed August 2020. - AC Hotel by Marriott, Beverly Hills, CA - Historical Renovation of Public Area and Guestrooms, Custom design for Public and Guestrooms. Opened January 2019.- Marriott Residence Inn Convention Center, Seattle, WA - Custom Public Area and Guestrooms. Completed Fall 2017.- Fairfield Inn and Suites, Charleston, WV - Conversion of Public and Guestrooms from a Wyndham Property. First project as Studio manager and assisted the lead designer thru to completion.- AC Hotel by Marriott, Ridgeland, MS - Custom Public Area, Prototype Guestrooms. To be completed tentatively Spring 2021.- AC Hotel / Residence Inn Dual Brand, Oakland, CA - Custom Public Areas, custom Residence Inn Guestrooms, prototype AC Hotel guestrooms.To be completed in 2022.- Hilton Garden Inn, University of Wisconsin - Custom Public Areas and Modified- prototype Guestrooms. To be completed December 2020.- Hyatt Place, Downtown Phoenix, AZ - Custom Public Areas and prototype Guestrooms. Project is located in the Art Deco inspired area of Phoenix. Public areas will be an unique blend of modern architecture and design with accents of Deco. To be completed 2021.

Greater Denver Area

During my time as a Senior Designer I was responsible for concepting the project design for Public Areas/ Guestrooms, presenting the design to the Owners and Brand to gain approval to which I then took the project through the remaining phases to completion. Other responsibilities included creating and maintaining project schedules, FFE budget creation and maintence, FFE and ID Finish Specifications, coordination with project electrician, architect, Ownership, GC and other trades, as well as Millwork Shop drawing review and RFI/ Submittal reviews. At R+B I had the opportunity to work with interesting clients that had unique visions for their private residences, restaurants and hospitality projects throughout Colorado and the Western US. Conceptual designs for Hospitality projects and local restaurant renovations were the main focus the last year of employment. FF&E purchasing and specifications was a main responsibility along with architectural submittals and review. Project consultant and installation management, spacial planning, conceptual design and development while maintaining the Denver office resource library.

While at HBA Atlanta, I was able to learn from some of the best designers in the industry on high-end hospitality and residential design, both domestic and international. I had the privledge to work on such projects as :Fairmont Hotel-Flame Towers-Baku, AzerbaijanOffice and Residence Towers- Flame Towers- Baku, AzerbaijanHilton Double-Tree- Zibo, ChinaMandarin Oriental Renovation- Elbow Beach, BermudaDisney Resort Renovation- Hilton Head, South CarolinaWIth these projects and additional projects not listed; I was involved in the conceptual design and client presentations, Hotel & Condo-Model Room packages including both FF&E and CD's. Public Area documentation packages and specifications, international site visits, working with 3-D rendering teams on both guest and public area renderings. Coordination with fabric, lighting, tile and carpet manufacturers on custom designs, reviewing shop and material submittals. As well as coordination with architects/ lighting designers/ kitchen designers/ general contractors and MEP on an international level.

4-month Summer Internship.During this time I was able to work on custom lighting designs for the public function areas at a 4 star hotel in Dubai. I assisted in building concept and FF&E presentations, some spacial planning and 3-D renderings for a retro hotel in Miami.

4-month Summer Internship.I worked with antiquities dealers in finding unique pieces for on-going high end residential projects. I was incharge of maintaining the office resource library along with some secretarial duties, while assisting in the setup of client presentions for both interiors and marketing.
