Heather Manrique, Mba Hcm Email and Phone Number
After 18 years as an Infectious Disease Specialist I have accepted a position as Patient Advocacy Coordinator (PAC). Through state wide training in diversity intelligence and patient barriers I will show that completion rates will rise, patient experience will be greater and infectious disease worker job satisfaction will improve! I’m excited about this new venture and look forward to making a difference!!My fabulous career working in Infectious Diseases with the Bureau of Infectious Diseases has not come to an end but rather has morphed into something greatly needed for the future of the program. I have an M.B.A. in Health Care Management, and a B.S. degree in Psychology/English. I'm fluent in Spanish (reading, speaking, and writing). I have completed two internships and a full curriculum in Marriage and Family Counseling. I am passionate about life and take pride in every aspect of me and what I produce. I have sincere compassion and interest in all cultures of the world and sub-cultures of the U.S.A. I love library card catalogs, camping old school, and living off the land; while I acknowledge our society's need and desire to be virtually connected and technologically prepared. Side note: I have illustrated children's books as a fun hobby and have my work now published in 11 books. Specialties: I am a specialist in everything relating to Tuberculosis. I am well-versed in epidemiology, human psychology, training, Spanish, counseling, and business. My specialty allows me to help people while maintaining a "love" needed to protect the public.
