In my first year at Community Living Alliance (CLA), not only did I seamlessly transitioned my role from a complete paper driven process to 100% electronic, but after only 6 months I started working solo and hired 81% more employees (during a pandemic I might add!) than the two recruiters did the previous year. After my first year, I started diving into more creative ways and different avenues to hire find the candidates CLA was looking for. I used geographical targeting, x-ray searching, and other proactive recruitment techniques to bring candidates in rather than waiting for them to come to CLA. I started utilizing CLA's social media to expand our outreach occasionally which turned out to be rewarding as our reach started growing by up to 800% through posts. I researched and found a graphic design software and started teaching myself how to make different designs. I went from posting creative sayings once or twice a month to GIFs twice a week. A few months later, I was posting almost daily with fun creative content drawing in more engagement and outreach than we had seen previously. Today, I am posting new exciting content daily (videos with music), checking in at job fairs, and interacting with people on the companies social media platforms. As a result, I have see a result in a 330% increase Facebook Page Reach and 33.3% increase in Likes. While I work on my social media/marketing aspect I am still functioning as a full cycle recruiter.
