As a bilingual communications specialist with over 20 years’ experience, I’ve had a hand in all areas off the communications cycle in both private and non-profit sectors. From print production, graphic and web design to public and media relations, I’m now focused on efficient project management and holistic customer relations while reading up on accessibility and Indigenous history. A dream project is one where the road we take to achieve our objectives is as important as the end result. We listen to each other, play fair, own our mistakes, celebrate our achievements and have fun along the way. I like to find the sweet spot for the approval process, work with highly motivated, efficient and effective team members and choose the right tools to achieve our desired outcomes. I bring a love of technology and try to keep up with the lightning speed at which it and social media continues to evolve.A highlight of my career was designing and delivering presentations of world-class software on Linux, Windows and Mac platforms to audiences of up to 250 at tradeshows, user groups and sales presentations in Canada, Europe and the States.Now, after 21 years at the Canada Council for the Arts, I continued to be inspired to share the stories of our professional artists to arts enthusiasts across the country. Artists are the true heroes of our time and their legacy has a lasting effect on our cultural history. In my leisure, I’m a wannabe foodie, wine snob, jock.
