Commissioned to write the key feature for lifestyle publication What's What Magazine described by the editor as being the "heart and soul" of the edition.

• Appointed Editor of the company’s new glossy lifestyle magazine because of my vision for creating a vibrant product with independent, trusted journalism as its USP. As a result of my input the magazine met the brief of appealing to a wide demographic and hitting revenue targets.• Learned software application InDesign on the job laying out pages for other publications which I was also responsible for overseeing alongside my principal role.

• Publication Highly Commended at the Midlands Media Awards for its quality journalism.• Nominated for Journalist of the Year.• Instrumental in organising and promoting the magazine’s annual wedding fair across print and social media channels leading to a high turnout and repeat bookings from exhibitors.

• Gaining extensive knowledge of producing magazines.• Crafting my feature writing and producing impactive copy which I adapted for the audience.• Developing digital communication skills. Playing key role in design of websites, writing and uploading content and learning how to use social media platforms to engage, push key messages and build awareness. Organically grew a Twitter following of nearly 5,000.
