With a small team I create and manage stakeholder engagement programs targeted at upper secondary and tertiary students and small businesses. I also work to raise general public awareness of the intellectual property system.I successfully managed the international launch of the World Intellectual Property Organization's Global Innovation Index 2014 - the first time the event has occured outside Europe. I received an Australia Day Medal for my work on this event.

I am responsible for providing high level advice to the CEO and General Managers. While keeping my hand in with the daily marketing and communications, I also focus on long term planning and strategy development, research, internal communications, budget management and establishing new policies / procedures for a new branch.

The Assistant Director is responsible for managing the Commission’s production program of electoral information and education resources in print, audio-visual and web formats. This includes the development and production of promotional items. As an Assistant Director within the Communications and Information Strategy branch, I liaised with other branches to develop products and publications to serve the needs of an Australia wide organisation.

While working as the Promotions Manager, I was asked to act in the role of Marketing Manager for a period of 3 months. This required taking on a senior management role (sitting on the executive team, developing budgets, determining the overall marketing direction for the Centre, managing all staff in the section etc). I acted in this role while continuing my duties as Promotions Manager.The Promotions Manager assists with the development of Questacon’s marketing strategy and handles the implementation of most items. I was responsible for ensuring consistent brand and style is maintained in all areas.My duties in this role include managing the advertising for Questacon, hosting and liaising with media, developing and implementing the Marketing Plan for Questacon, managing the membership program, developing Questacon’s tourism industry business and supervising the graphic design staff and processes.
