•WebCookingClasses.com is an online publishing and membership website. I am responsible for developing branding, copywriting and design across all channels: website, printed materials, traditional media, event materials, and social media. In addition, I create the communications strategy and manage the online marketing plan. My primary daily marketing/communications functions include facebook ads management, email marketing, promotion management and execution, content creation, and social media management. I have also served as primary media contact for the website, generating press in national, local and niche media.

Savor Hospitality was a small, growing catering company when I joined to manage client relations and lead the grass-roots marketing efforts. As a Catering Events Manager, I was responsible for communicating with clients from the initial meeting to post-event follow up. In addition, I led the event team in planning, implementing and client communication throughout the entire process. As marketing ambassador, I also represented the company at networking events, building partner relationships, and by serving on association boards.Community Outreach Coordinator

•Sonic is a national brand of drive-in restaurants. At Sonic, I was responsible for managing advertising cooperatives in 16 markets by leading a team of colleagues and vendors, and communicating with franchisees, store managers and hourly employees regularly. My primary marketing functions included managing brand adherence across individual stores and markets, planning and managing quarterly co-op meetings for each market, and presenting the needs of the franchise community to corporate marketing. I also worked with local media in my markets to obtain press coverage for store openings, charitable outreach and other events and managed advertising agency representatives in implementation of market media plans.. During the time I was at Sonic, my area saw year over year growth and successfully opened 25 new units, many in new markets for the brand.

While at Sodexo, I worked as an on-site Marketing Manager for our client, Nortel Networks, providing marketing support to all of their North America locations. My primary marketing functions included writing and publishing a monthly newsletter, developing monthly promotions for the individual units, designing and maintaining an intranet, designing logos and fliers, and training unit operators on marketing and merchandising. During my time at Sodexo I led a team in winning a national food contest, bringing industry-wide recognition to the company and its efforts.

The Wood Company is a contract foodservice provider, where I worked as Marketing Manager for our client, the National Security Agency. My primary marketing functions included interviewing hourly employees to identify opportunities for improved management/employee relations, writing and publishing an employee newsletter, developing monthly promotions, and designing logos and fliers. While I was at The Wood Company, I was part of a company-wide marketing team that developed, presented and implemented a new branded concept for the company’s cafes.

Penn Advertising was an outdoor media company in Baltimore. During my time at Penn Advertising, I was a very ambitious account executive, tripling my annual sales budget and earning “Salesperson of the Year” in my first eligible year. My primary responsibilities included developing new business, account management, client relationship-building, and working with local and national advertising agencies on executing media buys.

Gannett Media recruited me from college and I was sent to Vineland, NJ to manage special sections for a small town daily newspaper. During my short time at The Daily Journal, I led the launch of several special sections and was able to increase revenue in an established territory by 15%.
