Ms. Moran-Botta utilized her extensive experience in Phase I ESA’s, risk assessment, asbestos, lead, and mold, as well as her wealth of expertise in ensuring regulatory compliance with multiple Federal, State, and local municipalities to manage teams nationally during her time at EBI.Project Highlights: • Responsible for overseeing a major nationwide coffee retailer account, this role revolved around meticulously managing and optimizing a diverse portfolio of client leaseholds. This entailed maintaining close communication with client representatives and ensuring that each lease site met the client’s rigorous environmental requirements. Her responsibilities included proposals, budgeting, coordinat-ing with legal, investigation of properties, reviewing property records and consultant reports. She worked closely with cross-functional teams to mitigate environmental risk and protect stakeholder interests. • Managing teams conducting comprehensive inspections, assessments, and testing for hazardous materials, including asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), lead-based paint, and mold infestations in telecommunication facilities across the country. She provided tailored solutions that minimize health risks, protected workers, and occupant safety, and facilitated the responsible management and re-mediation of these environmental hazards.

Ms. Moran-Botta was responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects from initiation to closure. This included leading cross-functional teams, managing project budgets and schedules, and ensuring that project objectives were met. Ms. Moran-Botta used her effective verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills to deliver successful projects that met or exceeded client requirements.Ms. Moran-Botta also played pivotal roles in hiring, training, and mentoring junior staff; leading the health and safety committee for years; creating and executing a formal training program; as well as a variety of other functions needed in a smaller organization.

All aspects of environmental investigation and remediation. Project management responsibilities include but are not limited to, client and regulator communication, work plan and proposal preparation, field implantation of work plans, project scheduling, deadline tracking, budget evaluation and analysis and technical editing and report finalization.

• Led and executed Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Maintained up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and lo-cal environmental regulations, ensuring all projects complied with relevant laws and guidelines.• Demonstrated expertise in underground storage tank (UST) and aboveground storage tank (AST) evaluations and assessing soil and groundwater impacts.• Conducted detailed inspections to identify and manage asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, and mold infestations, per prevailing SOPs and regulations, ensuring client compliance and oc-cupant safety.• Provided third-party oversight, sampling and reporting for asbestos abatement projects throughout New York and New Jersey.• Assisted with the coordination and oversight of the environmental closure of a medical manufactur-ing facility and a former Konica Minolta site. Responsible for conducting rinse-water, soil boring, and sub-slab soil sampling events with the NYSDEC. Aided with the preparation and submission of the fi-nal RCRA Closure Report.• Led methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) investigations, pinpointing contamination sources and assist-ed with devising containment and remediation strategies.• Provided research and support on several MTBE class action suits related to retail petroleum stations throughout New York State, Suffolk County PCE litigation, Vermont MTBE and CKD in upstate New York. Key tasks performed included: NYSDEC spill number closure; review of documents; coordina-tion with counsel; research into specific areas pertaining to each case; and review of reports and ex-pert documents provided by others.•

Acted as Health and Safety liaison between the corporate office in Maryland and the NY office. Responsible for incident reporting; holding monthly safety meetings; chemical inventory, MSDS maintenance and Right-To-Know compliance; and participation in monthly Corporate H&S company-wide conference calls.
