In addition to her business, Heather’s real passion and experience is fund-raising, chairing philanthropic ventures, and working with community organizations in the Vancouver area is her why. Heather brings an unparalleled expertise to all things Community Relations. She has an understanding of the attitudes and concerns of the community, and non-profit public interest groups. Heather has served on the planning and special events committees of several non-profit organizations and has been an instrumental sponsor of many organizations including SHARE and Crossroads Hospice. She was an ambassador for the Canucks for Kids Fund, part of the organizing committee for the Share Just Desserts Gala, and has also served as the chair of many fundraising events including the 4th Annual CAC Golf Fundraiser. Heather has found a unique balance between her philanthropy and her family. In her limited spare time, she enjoys travel abroad and being active in the church community. Heather is also a devoted mother of three and a loving wife.Heather has turned her passion for health, wellness, and lifestyle into new venture as a writer / blogger. Her life experience as a busy married woman and mom entering perimenopause, she has experienced the utter frustration and lack of information regarding weight loss and health for women like her via the traditional medical system.
