I also negotiated contracts, built and maintained vendor relations, evaluated vendors, managed buyer process, and analyzed reports to document quality, cost savings, and turnaround time.I have several accomplishments from this position that I am particularly proud of. To begin with, I headed an IT Contingent Labor Program with a budget exceeding $70M; while doing so, I cut redundant activities and fueled more effective processes and procedures.Overall, I drove annual savings of over $5M through skillful contract negotiation, saved approximately $1M for the organization by negotiating a new rebate structure, and slashed the number of preferred vendors from 55 to 18, boosting the quality of labor placements with cost savings ranging from $1M to $5M. -
