Negotiate large-scale strategic collaboration agreements with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies; design novel partnership structures balanced within University policy and leadership priorities; manage external collaborations; advise on contractual intellectual property matters around UCSF; analyze and interpret research and intellectual property-specific policies; design compliance-based campus procedures; serve as the liaison on behalf of the Office of Technology Management & Advancement to external partners, campus stakeholder groups, and University of California, Office of the President; manage software and tangible research property portfolios and non-exclusive licensing activity.
