As Editorial Manager for Seagate's Global Marketing organization, I lead a team of talented and passionate writers who bring Seagate's brand voice to life. Together, we collaborate with literally everyone to get shi—er, stuff—done. Or, more eloquently put, we shape the narrative behind groundbreaking innovations in data storage.I started my journey after college as an editor for a small but impactful publishing company, AAPC, which played a pivotal role in providing accessible resources, research, and practical tools specifically tailored for individuals on the autism spectrum, their families, educators, and professionals. There, I honed my love for language and sharpened my ability to take good writing and make it great. It wasn’t until I joined Seagate though that I discovered the thrill—yes thrill—of shaping stories in the world of marketing and advertising. (If you haven't seen Mad Men, watch it. Advertising is basically the perfect environment for creative adrenaline junkies with ADHD). Anyway, since then I’ve been at the forefront of countless events, product launches, campaigns, even a rebrand or two—each one teaching me the power of a rallying tagline, clear communication, and sleeves-up collaboration. The last part—that's my favorite. It's a rare and rewarding opportunity to do what you love every day, and for me that's learning, storytelling, problem solving, and building meaningful relationships. Grateful to be here.
