Lead Regional Resource Development Specialist for the NYS DOH Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver. Helping individuals with TBI's remain independent in their communities and out of nursing facilities. This was my first role in Human Services. I worked with teenage mothers and mother's-to-be. My role was to teach parenting skills to these teens as well as to their parents. All of the clients had recently returned home from placement facilities. Another role of mine was to reintegrate them into their homes, schools, and communities.
