I have been with Imagine Learning since August 2023! This has been an amazing opportunity with a great company. I use Microsoft platforms daily, as well as Salesforce, Highspot, Box, Slack and Teams. I have been in education for 30 years. Previously, I was a reading intervention teacher for K-3. This position was data and result driven. I worked with a large staff in a school of 1100 students. Previous to this, I was on the Leadership Team that opened this new school, 5 years ago. I attended community and school board meetings, helped to create our mission and goals, ordered all furniture and classroom materials for my grade level, hired staff, gave input on web design, and also was part of 2 smaller committees that determined the final school name and recess equipment to be ordered. I have also taught and managed children and families in my own classroom and team taught a double class for over a decade. I have my Master’s degree in Reading with emphasis on PreK-6. I am experienced in Catalyst: whole group, small group, and 1:1 certification. I am LETRS certified. I worked with the Google platform and daily with Google sheets, Drive, documents, and draw.I am skilled at managing a team of 10 and a classroom of up to 60 students, communicating to large community groups, leaders, parents, and students. I use best practices and understand and have contributed to several curriculum adoptions. My organization, multi-tasking, management, teamwork and leadership skills are considered my strongest assets.
