Programmes Officer (Technical Lead For Gender And Inclusion)
Current· Managing a range of projects which offer effective and high-quality services to people affected by leprosy, disability and mental health.· Providing technical support, training and capacity building to in-country teams in Nepal and Nigeria.· Undertaking regular monitoring visits and conference calls to review project progress and ensure outcomes and outputs are achieved on time, including liaising with UK and in-country project and finance teams to ensure procedures are followed and projects are on budget.· Managing the whole project cycle, from design and implementation through to closure, including extensive use of project tools such as theory of change, logframe, work plan and risk register.· Applying adaptive management principles to ensure activities and budgets are revised as necessary to maintain high standards of project delivery.· Liaising with project donors, including FCDO and Comic Relief, to ensure projects fulfil donor requirements and guidance. · Writing and/or quality assurance of timely narrative and financial reports to donors, partners, internal staff and other stakeholders.· Ensuring that safeguarding procedures are followed at all times, referring any incidents to the appropriate Designated Safeguarding Lead.· Assessing, mitigating and managing project risks. · Undertaking the lead role for gender and inclusion within the organisation.· Undertaking the role of ‘Super User’ for Salesforce within the Programmes Team
