Lead and develop full scale of project plans, i.e., work breakdown structures (WBS) and project schedules. Track project deliverables using project management tools. Define the project scope of work, financial plan, goals, and deliverables. Report on project progress and communicate relevant information to superiors. Resolve, trace, and escalate critical issues to minimize project risk factors. Manage operational, financial, and technological aspects of projects based on timelines and work plans. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to establish cordial working relationship. Prepare program review briefings for corporate management. Perform all employee actions, including hiring, termination, annual performance appraisals and salary increases. Assist the government management personnel and/or customer agency representative by overseeing a successful implementation of projects milestones and deliverables, allocating resources, and controlling scope. Direct the daily work of 40 employees assigned to a project in excess of $10 million per year, with the primary role of managing the day-to-day activities of client projects, and ensure the projects are completed successfully on time, within budget, and to the clients’ satisfaction. Provide project management support to Agile/Scrum-based software development teams including release planning, size estimating and story points, status tracking (i.e. velocity, burndown charts, project charters, risk management and level of effort), SDLC support (including stage gate reviews, deployment reviews and configuration management, retrospectives and product demos). Reviewing and approving all task deliverables. Status reporting to several levels of corporate and client management, including weekly status reporting to corporate director, vice presidents and client management, and monthly status reporting to director-level management.
