Building on her decade of work at IDFA, Heather Soubra stepped into the role of SVP, Strategic Initiatives in 2021, only leaving it, and shifting to contractor status, in order to continue supporting the organization, as she dove more fully into her coaching practice, Wiser Way Coaching. In the SVP role, she directed the organization’s key initiatives, leading day-to-day operations of the executive office. Executing on the strategic priorities of the International Dairy Foods Association, she served as strategist and consultant, facilitating collaboration and inclusiveness across the association to achieve organizational goals. Closest to Heather's heart was her leadership of IDFA program development and execution, including IDFA’s Dairy Forum which convenes 1,000 + stakeholders annually for the industry’s best-in-class thought leadership and strategic sharing of next-practices. In designing, implementing, and leading the IDFA People Strategy, she designed and created a suite of programs focused on leadership and the cultivation of organizational well-being, as well as on building the workforce and organizations of the future. Among these programs was the Dairy Diversity Coalition developed in collaboration with Egon Zehnder with the goal of increasing and empowering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the dairy industry.
